This course requires an enrolment keyThis CEMM project investigates the digital literacies, aspirations and motivations of first year university students in the context of the lecturers' beleifs about students and the wider literature, especially generational literature. In general, we make many pedagigical decisions based on our understanding of our students. If this research shows that our assumptions, often based on popular mythology of digital natives, are incorrect then it has implications for what and how we should approach our teaching.
